GENERAL EXHIBIT APPLICATION

1. Guidance

This form to be completed for any exhibit NOT containing a boiler or pressurised vessel. Copies / Proof of relevant insurance covering the period of the Rally and any other relevant certifications must be provided and approved before entry to the rally site will be allowed. Entry acceptance without the correct paperwork (as above) is conditional until all documentation is validated. Invalid paperwork will mean entry is refused.

  1. I declare that during the SSVCL Rally, my exhibit will be covered by (at least) the minimum insurance requirement as required by the Road Traffic Act (if applicable).
  2. I declare that the driver(s) hold a current and full driving licence of the appropriate class for that exhibit and has / have not been excluded from using the Public Highway (where applicable).
  3. I agree to produce the insurance documents, certificates, and current licences for any driver(s) to any Rally Official or Safety Officer upon request at the Rally.
  4. I agree to comply with the SSVCL Health & Safety Policy and comply with the instructions of the stewards and Safety Officers; and also to abide by the Code of Practice of the NTET, if appropriate to my exhibit.
  5. I accept that the Organiser’s reserve the right to refuse admission or withdraw permission to remain at the event if the appropriate certification is not produced or there is any question regarding its adequacy or suitability, and that any attendance fees or other benefits may be forfeited.
  6. I accept that the Organiser’s have the right to decide on which entries are accepted for this event at their sole discretion due to the limited places available, and need not give a reason for refusal of my entry.
  7. I accept that mobile exhibits are expected to take part in the Grand Parade (if arranged); that I will report to the Section Secretary for 9.30am each morning; that my exhibit will be in position by 10.00am each day when the site is open to the public and remain on display in the exhibition area until the official public closing time of 5.00pm on each day.
  8. I acknowledge that free admission will be restricted to the exhibit owner, owner’s vehicle and living accommodation plus two helpers (3 in total). All other attendees must pay an entrance fee. Any other vehicles are to be left in the visitor’s car park; with low-loaders and heavy lorries in the designated area set aside.
  9. I accept that the decision of a Safety Officer on any matter concerning the Rally, including anything related to my exhibit, shall be final.

I forward (or will forward prior to the rally) copies of proof of insurance cover and other certificates. As at the date of the Rally, I agree to provide proof of current cover and licences to any Rally Committee Member or Safety Officer upon request.

I accept site movement is restricted and vehicles / exhibits cannot leave site before 5.00pm.
